Job Title: Hypersonics Programme Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our team and support our clients in delivering complex programmes and portfolios of projects. As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for leading customer interfaces, building teams, relationships, and stakeholder confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead customer interfaces, build teams, relationships, and stakeholder confidence.
  • Take responsibility for performance, profit, and loss, and commercial arrangements.
  • Establish and oversee complex programmes supporting clients in the nuclear industry.
  • Develop governance structures integrating with existing frameworks, optimising decision making across the programme and integrated projects.
  • Apply best practice in managing complex programmes in a bespoke environment.
  • Understand execution of projects and Project Execution Planning.
  • Develop programme blueprints, tranche structures, mapping, and measures for realisation of benefits.
  • Lead and set up a Programme Management Office, programme reporting, baseline development, and integration of project reports.
  • Manage programme risks and opportunities.
  • Produce Green Book five case business cases.
Requirements:
  • Degree Qualified or HND in an engineering discipline.
  • Project Management Qualification Prince2, APMP, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in Programme Management of Nuclear projects.
  • Proven experience in overseeing complex projects and programmes.
  • Commercial awareness with a focus on delivery and value for money.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to a changing work environment.
  • Previous experience of managing high-value programmes.
  • Knowledge of UK Government regulated site activities.
