Select Appointments, a prominent player in the energy sector, is seeking an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their innovative team at their Lowestoft depot. With a clear growth path over the next 5 years and several major projects underway, this is an ideal time to join a business that offers flexible offshore energy solutions and multiple revenue streams.

The Role

As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, project accounting, and collaborating closely with the Delivery Team to address operational concerns and provide financial performance updates. You will also be involved in providing robust financial management for various contracts/projects, monitoring project performance in relation to costings, updating weekly forecasts, and managing change effectively.

Your Qualifications and Experience
  • AAT qualified (level 4) with aspirations to progress with your ACCA or CIMA qualifications, of which you would be fully supported.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and highly proficient skills within Excel to handle complex data.
