Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our finance department, managing our financial planning, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to support the company's strategic growth.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the board and management team, including management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Financial Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including accounts payable and receivable, credit control, and banking facilities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, including tax and VAT requirements.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in ad-hoc projects, such as cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
Requirements:
- Professional Qualifications: Hold a professional accounting qualification, such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
- Technical Skills: Have detailed knowledge of Excel and general computer literacy.
