About the Role

The Account Manager is a key position within our company, responsible for building strong partnerships with regional and national chain retailers, as well as large independents. The successful candidate will ensure that store staff are well-trained, engaged, and incentivized to sell and promote our products effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow sales on the territory and maintain the company's competitive advantage in the region.
  • Develop good working partnerships with all retailers.
  • Regularly visit and manage retailers on the territory.
  • Arrange and carry out product training for all retail sales staff.
  • Maintain product displays in-store to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Ideal experience in selling retail furniture or a related product to large retailers.
  • Experience in training retail staff is highly desirable.
  • Highly motivated, focused, and adaptable.
  • Able to demonstrate a first-class retail sales track record.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • A self-starter with the ability to bring new ideas to the department.
  • Excellent numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A full clean driving license.
