About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our close-knit team at Cranford Care Home in Aberdeen. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and quality of life of our residents, providing dedicated support and promoting independence with kindness and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver person-centered care, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible care.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you are equipped to provide the highest standard of care.

Requirements
  • Proficient in effective communication across all levels.
  • Demonstrates a sincere interest in working with our specific client group.
  • Successfully passed DBS screening.
  • Thrives as a collaborative team player.
  • While not mandatory, possession of an NVQ level 2 in care is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrate eagerness to engage in vocational training programs, continually enhancing skills and knowledge.
  • Display initiative and autonomy.
