About the Role
The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in providing financial and business support to our senior management teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with our finance team, clinical and non-clinical colleagues, and executive directors to provide accurate and timely financial planning and reporting information.
- Develop and present complex business cases to non-finance managers and directors, showcasing your excellent strategic and operational financial management acumen.
- Lead on budget setting and financial management, leveraging your senior experience in similar environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the trust to drive change and improvements, ensuring the successful delivery of our financial recovery and ongoing development.
- Analyse complex facts and situations to develop a range of options, proposing the best solution for the trust, and persuading and negotiating with senior managers to this view.

Requirements
- Professional Accountancy Qualification - CCAB Qualified (Level 7 Masters).
- Leadership & Management Development training and/or equivalent work experience.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Significant senior experience in financial management, including leading on budget setting in a similar environment to the NHS.
- Experience of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Experienced in developing and presenting formal, complex business cases to non-finance managers and directors.
- Experience of leading change and improvements, including leading key stakeholders across the trust and own team.
- Understanding of the NHS financial framework.
- Awareness of the challenges facing the NHS and particular issues affecting the local healthcare economy and knowledge of how to update and improve policy to meet these challenges.
- Ability to analyse complex facts and situations to develop a range of options, proposing the best solution for the trust.
