Role Overview

Vistry Group PLC is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. As a key member of our Technical Department, you will be responsible for managing residential development projects from design stage to completion, ensuring timely delivery and technical approval.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sites and projects in line with the delivery programme and key date schedule.
  • Review reports from the Land department and manage associated requirements from design to completion.
  • Manage consultants to deliver Civil Engineering designs, Structural Engineering, and contamination remediation requirements.
  • Undertake value engineering assessments and ensure buildability of designs.
  • Manage submission of designs and securing technical approvals for agreements such as S104, S38, and S278.
  • Manage the accuracy of information supplied by all departments to ensure no discrepancies.
  • Prepare all drawings and documents for Pre-tender meetings in line with the Regional Key Date Schedule.
  • Monitor and report technical and development fees.
  • Resolve technical-related queries, including conducting site visits as required.

Requirements

  • Good level of IT literacy with experience of AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel, and Word. Revit experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent organisation and time management with ability to multitask.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Ability to make decisions within authority.
  • Able to lead and work effectively in a team.
  • Experienced in analysing problems and delivering solutions.
  • Strong mathematical ability.
  • Professional aptitude and appearance at all times.
  • Strives for continuous improvement for the benefit of the company.
  • Driven to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Able to work under pressure and accept criticism of work.
  • Good level of communication skills, with the necessity to liaise with internal staff and external bodies.
  • Be practical and methodical with good analytical skills.
  • Willing to work extra to meet deadlines as and when the business needs require it.
