We are seeking a skilled Positive Action Engagement Officer to support our Inclusion and Engagement Team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse communities and promoting inclusion and diversity within the workplace.

Main Responsibilities

  • Engage with local communities and build relationships with community groups and organizations.
  • Support the development of initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion within the trust.
  • Provide information, advice, and guidance to individuals and groups to improve their chances of obtaining employment within the trust.
  • Attend careers and community events, deliver workshops, and explore innovative ways to engage local communities.

Person Specification

Qualification and Knowledge

  • Good level of literacy and numeracy, educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Equality Act 2010 and its implications for the trust.

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience of community engagement and working with diverse communities.
  • Experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
