We are recruiting a Plumbing Skills Trainer to join our Building Services team based at our historic campus in Pride Park, Derby.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to train learners who will become the workforce of the future. As a Plumbing Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs that meet the needs of employers across the local region and the UK.

Derby College Group (DCG) supports employers by providing training solutions that address their skills gaps. Our historic Roundhouse Campus in Pride Park, Derby, is home to our Building Services team, which offers a range of training programs for the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs in plumbing skills
  • Maintain and update course materials to ensure they are relevant and effective
  • Work closely with employers to understand their skills requirements and develop training programs that meet their needs
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in plumbing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
