Job Title: Senior Credit Risk Manager - Asset Finance
Job Summary:
CBC Resourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Risk Manager to lead the credit risk strategy and team for our client, a specialist bank providing asset financing solutions to the UK SME and mid-corporate community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the credit risk strategy and framework to ensure the quality and quantity of new business written and maintain the integrity of the portfolio.
- Recruit, motivate, and train a team of credit risk analysts and managers responsible for assessing and underwriting new business transactions within agreed mandates.
- Improve the efficiency of the credit risk function, including responsibility for the credit risk automation strategy to streamline the sanctioning and processing of 'flow' transactions.
- Collaborate with commercial and operational functional areas to improve the overall performance of the asset finance division.
- Personally sanction larger value and more complex transactions and represent these at bank Credit Committee where necessary.
Requirements:
- A highly experienced credit risk professional with extensive asset finance/leasing experience gained across a range of asset classes and transaction sizes.
- A strong leader able to drive performance and excellence from a team of credit risk analysts and managers.
- Asset finance credit risk automation experience.
