About the Role

To be responsible for the end-to-end management of transactions of both commercial and residential assets and supporting the Asset Managers in portfolio optimisation and management. Reporting to a Senior Asset Manager, but with accountability to an Estates Surveyor, you have previous experience of managing transactions either in a client-side or consultancy role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage transactions of commercial and residential assets
  • Support Asset Managers in portfolio optimisation and management
  • Work with external consultants as needed
  • Develop and implement disposal programmes of surplus assets
  • Acquire assets for the delivery of the Salvation Army mission
Requirements
  • Qualification at degree level and ideally membership of or working towards an appropriate professional organisation such as the RICS
  • Widespread transactional experience across a variety of asset classes
  • Good understanding of Landlord and Tenant legislation
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle large and varied workloads
  • Excellent reporting skills, including experience and understanding of the use of databases for property management purposes
  • Ability to make effective decisions, collaborate and partner with colleagues across the organisation
