Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer to join our MEP division in Leeds.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading on projects, taking ownership of technical delivery and financial profitability, and developing relationships with clients, project managers, and architects.

Our MEP team is a specialist in energy, sustainability, and engineering design, working across various sectors including commercial, industrial, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, heritage, and residential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading on projects and taking responsibility for technical delivery and financial profitability
  • Developing relationships with clients, project managers, and architects
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of electrical disciplines and working on multidisciplinary projects

We offer a fresh approach to MEP, getting involved early, working collaboratively with the design team, highlighting options, guiding design development, and using our expertise to help clients make key decisions.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualification at HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters within electrical engineering or building services and ideally chartered status (or working towards it)
  • Proven experience working as a Principal or Senior Electrical Engineer with a track record of working within the UK on a range of mainstream building services projects
  • Sound knowledge of BIM processes, Revit, and IES/Amtech
