About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Accountant to join our finance team at Jobs for Humanity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, as well as providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions, including trend analysis, variance analysis, and financial ratio analysis.
  • Financial Systems: Maintain and improve financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective communication of financial information.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong financial planning and analysis skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting. Proficient in financial software, including Excel, and financial systems, including ERP systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
