  • Deliver evidence-based care and stay informed on the latest best practices.
  • Actively participate in clinical supervision and oversee the development of nursing staff.
  • Serve as a role model of clinical excellence and demonstrate best practices.
  • Navigate the legal and ethical dimensions of mental health care with confidence.
  • Provide clear information to clients and carers about available services.
  • Offer specialist knowledge and expert advice to fellow healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate with clarity and empathy, even in challenging situations.
  • Lead weekly multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure seamless care.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing.
  • Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
  • Valid NMC Registration.
  • Community experience.
  • Experience of working in old age psychiatry.
  • Experience of assessing and managing crisis with those with a dementing illness.
