We are seeking an experienced Senior Applications Manager to join our Enterprise Applications team at AWE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering value for money services that meet AWE Business requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Application Delivery: Deliver stakeholder needs, understand the Business and Programme requirements, and describe how the team's work delivers stakeholder needs.
- Team Leadership: Make decisions, identify issues, problems, and opportunities, and use data and insights to make pragmatic decisions to meet Application team's objectives.
- Resource Management: Drive team (internal or external) results, set challenging objectives for self and team, and work to achieve or exceed goals.
- Communication: Engage and direct people to commit to the work and to the organisation, facilitate and encourage communication both within own team and other teams.
- Development: Support people to deliver, effectively allocate responsibility, develop, and motivate the team to deliver.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek and deliver continuous improvement, guide, influence, and direct the team to understand, embrace, and deliver change.
- Accountability: Ensure that account is taken of any relevant statutory or external regulations, standards, and codes of good practice.
- Supply Chain Management: Take accountability for the conduct of all relevant supply contracts.
- Marketing and Representation: Market the service and benefits and maintain a positive public relations profile with customers.
- Representation and Relationships: Provide high-quality representation and develop constructive relationships with senior management, external suppliers, competitors, and customers.
- Experience: Experience of Siemens Teamcenter/NX or SAP administration in large environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Teamcenter/NX/SAP system performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Implementation Experience: Participation in a minimum of 2-3 implementations of Teamcenter/NX/SAP systems.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to take ownership of work activities and bring them to a timely and efficient conclusion.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams across regions.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Management Experience: Led the implementation of Teamcenter/NX/SAP systems across multiple technical landscapes.
- Management Qualification: A management qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
All Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
