Special Education Teacher

GSL Education - Bournemouth is seeking a qualified and dedicated teacher to join their team as a Class Teacher. This role involves creating an inclusive learning environment for students with special educational needs (SEN) in a semi-formal KS2 setting.
As a Class Teacher, you will deliver a semi-formal curriculum designed to develop life skills, communication, and independence. You will plan and assess personalised learning plans for students with complex needs, including autism, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.
You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to provide holistic support for each student. The salary for this role is £30,000-£46,525 per annum, which is competitive and reflects the importance of this position.
The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and experience working with students with learning difficulties and/or complex needs. They will also have strong knowledge of SEN, including autism, sensory processing issues, and communication challenges.
