Nursery Caregiver

At Folkestone Girls, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our nursery team as an Early Years Educator Assistant. This maternity cover position is for 33 hours a week, term-time only.

We value the voice of every child and provide a safe and stimulating environment where all children can flourish. As an Early Years Educator Assistant, you will work alongside the Nursery Teacher & Nursery Manager to provide quality education and care for children from 2 to 4 years old.

• Planning and Provision: Develop and implement engaging learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of our children.
• Observation and Assessment: Monitor and record children's development, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform teaching practices.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Work closely with the Nursery Team to ensure seamless delivery of our educational programs.

In this role, you will also:

• Support children's learning through play-based activities
• Contribute to planning and evaluating learning activities with the teacher/manager
• Participate in behavior management and hygiene/personal care routines
• Act as a key worker and carry out key worker responsibilities

Requirements and Qualifications

• A level 3 childcare qualification
• A strong commitment to providing high-quality education and care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

What We Offer

• A competitive salary of approximately £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
