Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor

EA Associates is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and ensure projects are delivered within budget. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field, with a strong working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts. Key responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, managing payments, and monitoring project costs. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing cost estimates and budgets
- Managing payments to subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitoring project costs and variations
- Supporting the preparation of final accounts
- Assisting in procurement processes and negotiating contracts
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Quantity Surveying experience in civil engineering or a related field
- Good working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
- Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software
- Full UK driving licence
