Devon County Council is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Caretaker - Site Maintenance Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the maintenance and upkeep of our school facilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors by ensuring the school building and grounds are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the school's facilities are in good working order.
• Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure the school's facilities are available for use.
• Collaborate with the school's senior leadership team and local governing body to ensure that the school's facilities meet the needs of students and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines, and report any incidents or near-misses to the relevant authorities.
