Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Contract Scotland. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of construction activities on site.
  • Supervise and manage trades and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of construction projects, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment needed for construction activities.
  • Communicate effectively with the site management team, project stakeholders, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in new build housing projects, with a solid trades background.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and tools is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or a related field are preferred.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
