Legal Aid Advocate

As a Legal Aid Advocate at Legal Aid Ontario, you will be responsible for providing support to clients with complex legal issues and connecting them with the resources they need to navigate the justice system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide summary legal advice to clients in or out of custody
  • Assist clients in preparing for bail hearings and guilty pleas
  • Refer clients to community resources and services


Requirements:

  • Lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • Superior command of French in a legal context
  • Demonstrated experience in working with vulnerable populations
