About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Belong Atherton. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their dignity, respect, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Support residents with their mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Engage with residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' health and wellbeing to the care team.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a person-centred approach to care.
  • Previous experience working in elderly care or a related field.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
