We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Staff Psychologist to join our team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Staff Psychology Service, you will play a vital role in supporting colleagues with work-related stress and distress.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 psychological interventions and team psychological interventions on virtual platforms and in-person within clinical areas of the hospital.
- Support the Staff Psychology lead in delivering the service and maintaining key relationships within and outside of the trust.
- Develop and deliver direct clinical interventions using evidence-based psychological theories and models in individual and group work.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, staff groups, leaders, and managers to provide psychological advice and consultation on topics related to psychological wellbeing.
- Post-graduate doctorate in clinical, counselling, or health psychology.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a psychological practitioner.
- Knowledge and experience of occupational health problems and psychological aspects of work-related problems.
- Doctoral-level knowledge and expertise in research methods for audit and evaluation.
- Experience in treating trauma in a therapeutic setting.
As a Senior Staff Psychologist at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the improvement of colleague health and wellbeing services.
