Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a hospital in Oxford. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and be mechanically qualified/bias (C&G or NVQ).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and maintain mechanical plant, including pumps, motors, seals, and bearings.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as air conditioning and water treatment.
  3. Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance, including unblocking toilets and replacing taps.
  4. Monitor BMS systems and perform basic electrical duties.
  5. Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of the hospital.
Requirements
  1. Mechanical qualifications - NVQ or City & Guilds.
  2. Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  3. Multi-skilled and able to work independently.
  4. Good communication skills and ability to gain Enhanced DBS.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Any further qualifications in electrical or air conditioning.
  2. Experience working in a hospital environment.
  3. Water treatment qualifications (L8).
