Job Overview
Capital Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Officer to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum.

As a Financial Services Officer, you will play a critical role in delivering quality services to our members. Your primary responsibilities will include processing member transactions, reconciling accounts, and providing exceptional customer care.

You will work closely with the Senior Finance Officer and Finance Manager to prioritize daily tasks and ensure seamless execution of duties.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process daily banking transactions, including direct debit files and payroll deductions
• Reconcile main bank accounts on a daily basis
• Prepare faster payment transmission files
• Provide support for credit control, including rescheduling loans and actioning bad debt write-offs
• Assist in preparing data for reports and contribute to the Internal and External Audit process
• Cover for the Senior Finance Officer as required

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Good general education, including Standard grade English and Mathematics
• High level of numeracy skills and keyboard skills for computer operation
• Desire to study towards a professional financial qualification
• General office experience, including operation of computer applications
• Ability to deal effectively with people in person and over the telephone
