Mechanical Tradesperson

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Tradesperson to join our client based in the West Midlands. This is a possible permanent position after a successful trial period.

Apart from the competitive salary, an immediate start is available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measuring, cutting and shaping materials for fabrication purposes.
• Repairing equipment and machinery using hand tools and advanced techniques.
• Interpreting plans, diagrams and graphs to ensure accurate installations.
• Travelling to different site locations to install process plant equipment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a mechanical tradesperson or similar role is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as plans and diagrams.
• Flexibility to work nights and occasional overtime when required.
• Hard working and reliable attitude with strong problem-solving skills.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday.
• 7:30am - 3:30pm (hours may vary when working on site).

Salary Details:

• The salary for this role is £16.00 per hour.
• Overtime opportunities available after a probationary period.
