**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to provide maternity cover within our small hard-working team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out and reporting on a broad range of agricultural and horticultural trials, both laboratory and glasshouse-based.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Conduct laboratory and glasshouse-based trials to investigate potential disease issues for the industry

• Collaborate with the team to design and implement research trials

• Analyze data and write comprehensive reports

• Provide technical support and expertise to the team

• Maintain accurate records and databases

**Requirements**

• Degree or HND level in agriculture/horticulture/plant science

• Laboratory experience and knowledge of plant pathology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

• Computer literacy and data handling skills
