About the Role

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect aircraft systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including engine runs and complex repairs, to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Train and coach junior technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise maintenance tasks and ensure that all work is carried out to the required standard.
  • Release maintenance tasks that have been performed by yourself or under your supervision.
  • Perform maintenance at off-site locations as required.
  • Assist in providing time and cost estimates for maintenance tasks.
  • Respond to customer queries and requests in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Typically have additional civil maintenance work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to train other employees.
  • Part-147 approved type training.
  • Some experience in corporate/commercial jet experience (preferred).
  • EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License: B1, B2, and C.
  • Basic knowledge requirements of Appendix I to Part-66.
  • Basic knowledge of Part-M, Part-145, and any other relevant regulations.
  • At least 6 months of relevant aircraft or component maintenance experience in any consecutive 2-year period.
  • Experience working with our aircraft, but will consider other Business Aircraft makes as well.
  • Knowledge on and practicing of human factors, human performance, and limitations.
  • Knowledge on EWIS and CDCCL when relevant.
  • Experience working during the last two years on at least one aircraft type for each license (sub)category.
  • Current on all training requirements (recurrent/continuation training).
  • Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual task and/or aircraft status.
  • Ability to use standard tools, special tools, and operate ground support equipment.
  • Ability to work in accordance with the maintenance data and to notify the function responsible of defects or mistakes requiring rectification to re-establish required maintenance standards.
  • Ability to use information systems (computer skills).
  • Experience on business jet aircraft.
