We are seeking a Part-Time Facilities Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.

Job Summary

This role involves securing the school and nursery site, checking facilities, and performing site maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
  1. Site Security: Secure the school and nursery site including intruder alarms, windows, external gates, and doors.
  2. Maintenance Checks: Check that the school facilities are in good working order, including boilers and utility supplies.
  3. Cleanliness: Empty external site bins & litter pick, ensuring bins for school and nursery are ready for collection as per the schedule.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Perform site maintenance regime including water hygiene checks, boiler checks, sprinkler system maintenance, fire and alarm system checks, routine equipment checks, and meter readings.
  5. Repairs and Maintenance: Repair school fittings & fixtures where possible, move furniture & school equipment where required.
  6. Contractor Liaison: Liaise with external contractors when required & supervise their work.
  7. Emergency Response: Attend emergency call out/designated key holder in case of alarms out of hours.
  8. Event Support: Occasionally open/close the school out of hours for community or school events.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and staff.

Estimated Salary: £13,829 - £14,740 per annum.
