Job Title: Roadworks Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Roadworks Coordinator to join our team at W P Recruitment & HR Ltd. As a Roadworks Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing and monitoring applications for work permits from contractors and companies for the road network.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process and administer traffic orders
* Update and maintain permit scheme database and website with street works activities
* Process and record payments for all chargeable activities
* Assist in the preparation of traffic management plans and reports
* Ensure compliance to statutory regulations and minimize disruption to the network

Requirements:

* Strong administrative background with excellent attention to detail
* Good knowledge of the island
* Previous highways experience is an advantage but training will be given
* Good level of computer literacy and ability to learn new systems
* Good level of initiative and ability to prioritize workload to deadlines
* Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team within a fast-paced environment

Salary: £13.50 per hour worked
