We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Glasgow (Cathcart). The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is committed to delivering high-quality products and services. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring that all products meet contractual requirements and company quality standards.

  • Developing and implementing effective quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Identifying and resolving product quality issues, working closely with internal departments and external partners.
  • Ensuring Quality Control areas are presented to the highest standard at all times.
  • Undertaking random QC checks to ensure that procedures are being followed in line with QMS and/or customer requirements.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in quality control and non-destructive testing, with a minimum of three disciplines: Sector 5 Method 24 Ultrasonic Testing, Sector 2 Method 21 Magnetic Particle Testing, and Sector 6 Method 23 Visual Testing. EN 9712 (PCN) Level 2 qualification is essential.

Working Environment

The role requires standing, sitting, walking, talking, hearing, and seeing for extended periods, with occasional travel to sister sites and vendors. Ability to work with moderate noise and in an open-plan office or individual office environment is essential.
