Job Description

The RF Systems Engineer is responsible for the top-level specification of phased arrays. This involves system simulation, algorithm development, and specification writing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with RF and system modeling.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed system requirements based on customer needs
  • Ensure requirements meet all relevant regulatory requirements
  • Create RF system board layouts and define strategies for complex systems
  • Lead RF system integration and debug activities at the board level
  • Develop algorithms for control of RF blocks
  • Collaborate with digital hardware and software teams to integrate and validate algorithms
  • Develop test and calibration strategies for sub-assemblies of complete arrays

Person Specification:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge and experience in RF and system modeling
  • Ability to create algorithms to control complex systems
  • Experience with system integration, prototyping, measurement, and production transfer
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills

Salary Information

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
