Job Description

We are seeking a Marine Claims Surveyor/Loss Adjuster to join our expert team in the Global Marine Practice Group. As a Marine Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for investigating marine cargo and freight liability claims, requiring you to investigate the cargo owner & carrier logistic practices, circumstances and cause of each loss with consideration of policy cover.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigation of both marine cargo and freight liability claims
  • Consideration of liabilities both for the cargo owner and carriers in a transit chain
  • Protection and securing of recoveries from other carriers who may be involved and indeed non contracted third parties
