About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Homecare Pharmacy Department as a Pharmacy Administrative Officer. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the efficient processing of prescriptions and invoices.

Main Responsibilities

  • Organize and forward prescriptions to the correct homecare providers
  • Liaise with specialist clinical teams and patients to ensure effective and safe delivery of medicines
  • Participate in order processing, matching invoices and credit notes, and ensuring prices charged are correct
  • Investigate discrepancies and errors in homecare deliveries and maintain up-to-date records of invoices passed

Requirements

  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
  • European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft Office experience, including Intermediate Excel and Word
  • Experience of ordering, invoice reconciliation, spreadsheets, databases, and reporting
