We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our team in London, working on high-profile domestic and international projects and disputes. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and concurrent projects, managing a team of delay analysts and contributing to expert report writing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of delay analysts working on several cases.
  • Contribute sections to expert report writing.
  • Deliver expert delay and forensic planning services in line with client briefs.
  • Network and win work, developing relationships with construction industry solicitors and influential contacts.
  • Critically analyse project and major programme performance, identifying root causes of distress.
  • Lead development of a contract and commercial strategy to recover performance of distressed projects or major programmes.
  • Provide strategic advice on proceeding with or amending client claims and disputes.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively, chairing meetings with clients and other advisors as necessary.
  • Coach and train delay analysis team members, encouraging their professional progression.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in delay, planning, and related construction and engineering industry experience.
  • Significant exposure to managing programmes, using planning software, and delay analysis techniques.
  • Strong working knowledge of common planning software, such as Primavera and Asta PowerProject, TILOS, CEMAR, and Excel.
  • Experience in contributing sections to expert report writing and working towards writing own expert reports.
  • Delivered expert delay and forensic planning services to satisfied clients.
  • Developed and pursued claims up or down the supply chain.
  • Coached and trained delay analysis teams, encouraging professional progression.
