Senior Lettings Negotiator

One Property Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lettings Negotiator to join their team in Dorking. As a key member of the lettings team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of lettings, from initial enquiries to successful tenancy agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Enquiry Management: Respond promptly and professionally to all telephone and email enquiries, ensuring a positive first impression for potential tenants.
  2. Tenant Qualification: Fully register and qualify potential tenants, collecting all necessary information to ensure a smooth tenancy process.
  3. Property Matching: Match available properties to suitable applicants, arranging viewings to showcase properties in the best possible light.
  4. Tenancy Negotiation: Negotiate tenancy applications between landlords and tenants, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  5. Market Updates: Provide accurate viewing feedback and market updates to landlords, keeping them informed of market trends and conditions.
  6. Property Presentation: Create detailed and informative property descriptions, taking high-quality photographs to showcase properties online.
  7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Assistant Branch Manager on upcoming properties and market strategies, ensuring a cohesive approach to lettings.
  8. Administrative Support: Liaise with administration and property management teams to ensure smooth operations, maintaining compliance with lettings regulations.
  9. Market Intelligence: Monitor the local lettings market and competitors' properties to maintain a competitive edge, identifying opportunities for business growth.
Required Skills and Attributes:
  1. Excellent Communication: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and colleagues.
  2. Negotiation and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding mutually beneficial solutions.
  3. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, with a focus on delivering a positive experience for all stakeholders.
  4. Attention to Detail: Possess attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, ensuring compliance with lettings regulations.
  5. Time Management: Demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and deliver results.
