Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Transfer Agency Technical Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our Transfer Agency teams, including onshore and offshore colleagues, Voice Service Centre, and Complaints teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and coaching to Transfer Agency teams, including handling complex investment issues.
- Approve project documents, such as requirement guides, procedure guides, test scripts, and briefing materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including LBG and third-party suppliers.
- Improve investment processes by identifying and fixing issues, suggesting solutions, and providing training based on referral trends.
- Design and specify requirements for BaNCS Mutual Funds, ensuring projects meet technical standards and manage risks.
- Support local and strategic projects, assess their impact on business processes and systems, and participate in migration rehearsals, including testing and verification.
- Present BaNCS functionality developments to stakeholders.
- Support BAT testing by providing product and process expertise, developing test plans, and resolving test team issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Transfer Agency, with a strong understanding of compliance and laws, including Box Management, CASS, HMRC ISA regulations, and COBS and COLL rules.
- Familiarity with BaNCS/Diligenta or other core IT systems, and finance/accounting.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to negotiate with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage workload effectively.
- Understanding of the financial impacts of different requirements and solution options.
