About the Role

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Building Performance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering innovative sustainability solutions to the built environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver projects from concept design to completion
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate sustainability strategies into all phases of the construction projects
  • Use expertise to achieve sustainability targets and enhance performance by providing certifications on projects
  • Produce and implement circular economy, whole life carbon, and WELL certifications into projects

Requirements

  • Relevant experience as a Sustainability or Building Performance Specialist within the construction industry
  • Relevant degree within an environmental science or engineering discipline
  • Experience delivering sustainability assessments throughout a project lifecycle with a relevant qualification being desirable
  • Experience with Circular Economy opportunities and Whole Life Carbon Assessments would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail
