Technician Role for Laundry Facility

We are recruiting a skilled technician to join our team in Manchester, working on the upkeep and maintenance of machinery and equipment in a busy laundry facility.

Job Description:

  • Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the premises.
  • Responsible for the storage and ordering of spare parts and maintenance tools.
  • Authorise hot work permits and compile training materials.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to plan maintenance schedules.

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in engineer fitting or automation fitting (desirable).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office and internet usage.
  • Hot work card or equivalent.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Flexible work schedule, with occasional site visits required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Estimated Salary: £38,500 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
