We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Senior Associate to join our rapidly growing and dynamic London Employment team at FGL Partners. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to work closely with our well-regarded partners and solicitors, and to take on a challenging and rewarding role in our Employment Law department.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a full spectrum of employment law cases, including unfair dismissal claims, discrimination claims, whistle-blowing claims, TUPE, Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation, redundancy, general advisory, and advising on senior executive exits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, and provide expert advice on employment law matters.
- Assist the partners in the team, and delegate work to and supervise junior members of the team effectively.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including presenting at conferences and seminars.
- Develop the careers and skill-set of junior lawyers.
- 5+ years of PQE in employment law.
- Full spectrum of employment law experience, including dealing with unfair dismissal claims, discrimination claims, whistle-blowing claims, TUPE, Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation, redundancy, general advisory, and advising on senior executive exits.
- Confident communicator.
- Ability to manage own case-load.
- Skilled at building and managing rapport with clients.
- Personable, a team player, and good commercial mind-set.
- Highly motivated and ability to use initiative.
- Strong interest in business development, including presenting at conferences and seminars.
