Job Title: Asset Maintenance Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance work, both proactive and reactive, and leading a team of 20 engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Lead a team of engineers to achieve business and operational objectives.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance activities, including work completed, issues encountered, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and promote a culture of safety within the team.

Requirements:

  • Completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship and/or hold relevant engineering qualifications.
  • Proven experience in managing a team of engineers, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
  • Knowledge of CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) and experience of delegation to the team.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate workload, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
