Childcare Support Worker

Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum
Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Waking Night Residential Childcare Support Worker. This role offers flexibility and no contractual obligation.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with person-centred risk assessments, support plans, and communicate effectively with colleagues for seamless handovers
- Monitor changes in behaviour, document, and report any shifts in support requirements
- Maintain positive relationships with young people, staff, and professionals through effective communication
- Provide continuous support at the standards of day staff, focusing on the safety of vulnerable individuals
- Carry out health and safety actions, including cleaning tasks and policies
- Liaise with external agencies, such as police and Emergency Duty Team
- Support young people attending hospital or police stations
- Experience supporting vulnerable young people
- Flexibility in availability, including weekend work
- Hold Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent, or be willing to study towards this
- Be willing to travel, with a full driving licence and access to a vehicle
