Key Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in manual machining and fitting techniques. This includes experience with operating manual lathes and mills, cutting threads, and reading engineering drawings. You will also need to have a good understanding of AS9100 standards and material traceability. In addition to your technical skills, you should be able to work well under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and safety. The ideal candidate will also have experience within the aerospace sector and a willingness to learn new skills. In return, we offer a competitive hourly rate of £16-18.50 and flexible working hours, including a 4-day week option.
