About the Role

This Senior Mixed Tax Manager position is a key opportunity for a tax professional to take on a leadership role in a Top 25 accountancy practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a growing tax department, overseeing a portfolio of personal tax clients, and providing tax compliance and planning services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to meet the needs of clients, including owner-managers and high net worth individuals.
  • Oversee the preparation of tax returns, including corporation tax, VAT, and other annual tax compliance work.
  • Provide tax planning advice to clients, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and maximize returns.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their tax needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the tax partner to develop and implement tax policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A recognized accounting/tax qualification (ACCA/ACA/CTA etc.)
  • Proven management and leadership skills, with experience in managing a team of tax professionals.
  • Strong business development skills, with a track record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
