Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to contribute to our innovative and high-quality design solutions in areas of site design, low impact development, green infrastructure, and municipal engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and/or execute complex projects, providing supervision and delegation as necessary
  • Provide technical leadership in areas of site design, low impact development, green infrastructure, municipal engineering, and construction management
  • Prepare, edit, and assemble technical and front-end specifications
  • Prepare written reports, such as study narratives documenting studies
  • Perform quality reviews of studies performed by other engineers or subconsultants
  • Manage projects and/or tasks, adhering to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Contribute to technical and business content and assist in managing proposal preparation or independently manage proposal preparation
  • Develop projects with existing clients and/or develop clients independently
Requirements:
  • AAS Degree in Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil field
  • 15+ years of civil engineering/site design experience
  • Experience with local, state, and federal permitting programs and stormwater regulations
  • Experience with conceptual and preliminary design of stormwater management and green infrastructure
  • Experience with construction management of civil engineering projects
Personal Qualities:

Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across diverse planning and engineering project teams, as well as ability to work independently in applying practical knowledge in the resiliency planning and design areas.
