Tutoring Support Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Tutoring Support Coordinator to join our team at 1st Staff Limited. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
About the RoleAs a Tutoring Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tuition to students with varying levels of support needs. You will work closely with our team to ensure each student receives tailored support and guidance, helping them to build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
This role will involve delivering Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people in various settings, such as schools, local communities, or their homes. You will have the opportunity to work with our lead tutors, safeguarding leads, curriculum leads, and behavioural specialist to develop effective strategies to support students with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver tuition sessions to students with SEN/SEMH and challenging behaviour.
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Identify barriers to learning and develop strategies to overcome them.
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide comprehensive support to students.
- Competitive hourly rate up to £30 (dependent on skills and experience).
