Job Title: Global Process Manager – FP&A

Salary: Circa £65,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process strategies across FP&A, including objectives, risks, controls, technical roadmaps, and design principles.
  • Collaborate with Level 2 Process Owners to gather business requirements and define future-state process designs, covering process steps, RACI, risks, controls, technology, reporting, data, governance, and service delivery.
  • Communicate and refine future-state process designs with Level 2 Process Owners to address key business scenarios.
  • Support the implementation of future-state designs by working with major programmes, providing advisory services, or resolving process challenges in line with strategy.
  • Identify and develop business cases for initiatives to address process deficiencies.
  • Provide essential materials and inputs to the Global Process Lead for the Process Design Authority, ensuring clear recommendations and analysis.
  • Gather insights from the Process Design Authority and Group to identify opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Deep understanding of optimising finance processes and their impact on data, technology, service delivery, governance, and reporting.
  • Solid knowledge of key FP&A processes like IBP and forecasting, with the ability to manage change across finance functions.
  • Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Skilled in analysing complex situations using various internal and external data sources for informed decision-making.
  • Experience working in a large, complex organisation with a similar scale and scope.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance finance processes and improve efficiency through data-driven analysis.

About the Role:

You'll drive process strategy and improvements across our UK and international finance operations, collaborating with finance teams to implement best practices and optimise Planning and Reporting processes, including IBP planning and reporting.

You'll define process taxonomy, shape future-state designs, and engage with stakeholders to address business scenarios. Your role will involve designing and implementing new processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting compliance and evolution across finance and non-finance functions.
