About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated teacher to join our team in Amble. As a Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our pupils.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a small class of KS3-aged pupils working at KS1 level. You will need to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all learners and promote progress.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with teaching assistants to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Additionally, managing challenging behaviour in a proactive and consistent manner is essential.

A key aspect of this position is building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning community.

Requirements

We require a qualified teacher with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and knowledge of pupil assessment methods. Experience of utilising behaviour management skills and building positive relationships with pupils is also desirable.

A competitive salary of £145-£175 per day, depending on experience, is offered. The contract is full-time until the end of the academic year in July 2025. Start date is January 2025.
