Job Overview

Clinical Fellow in Obstetric Ultrasound Specialist

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic doctor to join the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department as a Registrar with a special interest in obstetric ultrasound.

This is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to gain out-of-programme experience, post-CCT trainees, or non-training grade doctors who wish to pursue the CESR pathway.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful applicant will undertake a range of activities in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with four protected sessions for obstetric ultrasound per week.

They will be supported towards completion of the Special Interest Training Module (SITM) in Fetal Care.

Person Specification

  • 12 months experience in Obs and Gynae as a Registrar
  • UK experience as a Registrar doctor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
  • Ability to manage Delivery Suite at Registrar level
  • Intermediate competencies in Obstetric Ultrasound
