We are seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to join our facilities management team at our Birmingham site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work, as well as supporting their own dedicated site as our client's first point of call for PPM and reactive M&E and other general building services maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a proven track record of working in a similar role.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering planned and preventative maintenance
  • Fault finding and repair work
  • Supporting the site team with PPM and reactive M&E maintenance
  • Confidently carrying out a range of mechanical tasks

Essential qualifications and experience include:

  • 18th edition or HVAC experience
  • 'On the job' experience working in an M&E Engineer role or similar
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic
  • Awareness and knowledge of health & safety

Desirable qualifications and experience include:

  • F-Gas qualification
  • IOSH working safely qualification
  • Plumbing experience
  • Basic fabric skills
  • 2391 testing inspection
